Autumn Drinks Evening at Hereford Cathedral

To celebrate the firm’s presence in Hereford, Lanyon Bowdler, once again proved legal services can be entertaining; by holding an early autumn drinks evening in the College Hall - part of the magnificent Hereford Cathedral.

Guests were invited from Herefordshire businesses and the local community, and around 120 people gathered to mingle with friends and representatives from Lanyon Bowdler, whilst listening to live jazz, enjoying a glass of wine served by Tanners of Hereford, and tasting delicious canapés.

The music for the evening was provided by a jazz trio, fronted by resident Lanyon Bowdler saxophonist - partner Edward Rees, who heads the private client department.

Managing partner, David Battisby commented “The evening was a tremendous success.  I was delighted to see so many clients, business associates and friends join us for a wonderful evening of wine, food, jazz and socialising.”

Since the acquisition of Lewis & Co last December, the firm has been expanding the legal services on offer to the businesses and private individuals across Herefordshire, by offering local appointments either at the offices on King Street or at company premises.  As panel solicitors for members of the NFU throughout the county, Lanyon Bowdler are delighted to now be conveniently on hand in order to meet with farmers and growers to discuss their legal needs.
