Leading Shropshire law firm, Lanyon Bowdler offered families the chance to win a fun day out at the recent Burwarton Show. On a beautiful sunny day around 200 people entered the competition, with the lucky prize winners being announced towards the end of the day.

Most of the prizes were very kindly donated by West Midlands Safari Park, Drayton Manor Park, Severn Valley Railway, Ray’s Farm, Acton Scott Historic Working Farm, Secret Hills Discovery Centre, Ironbridge Gorge Museums, Hampton Court and Mickey Millers Play Barn.

As the sun was shining throughout the day, the Lanyon Bowdler team were on hand offering cold drinks, a bit of shade and the chance for their clients and other show goers to rest their weary feet.

David Battisby, Managing Partner of Lanyon Bowdler commented, “Firstly I would like to express our appreciation to all the venues that so kindly donated tickets for our family fun competition, they certainly helped make it such a huge success – thank you!”

He then added “We were delighted with how the day went. It was great to see so many familiar faces, our tent was busy all day and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. It’s an important show for us and our farming clients, so we were so glad it was such a success this year.”
