Do something different is this years Children in Need theme and in line with this Lanyon Bowdler has thrown out the dark suits and ties and replaced these with jeans and casual clothes.

There is a cake sale taking place in each of the office kitchens with a huge variety of delicious homemade cakes and a donation box where people can pay what they think the cakes are worth. Although there are the standard sponges and chocolate cakes there are also more exotic sounding cakes which is in keeping with the theme of doing something different. All of this money will be added together and paid directly to Children in Need.

We are hoping to raise a good amount as Children in Need is such a worthwhile charity and they need every penny possible. All of the money received by them is used to help worthwhile causes. One of these is Child Brain Injury Trust (CBIT) and LB feature in their directory, they are a fantastic organisation who receive money directly from Children in Need so we are hoping to raise a fantastic amount.

The mission at LB today is to see how many cakes it is possible to eat without feeling sick and then a way to try and burn those calories off!!
