Exam success at LB
A Lanyon Bowdler staff member is celebrating exam success, after becoming a qualified member of the Institute of Legal Executives.
Joanne Purnell, a conveyancing assistant for Lanyon Bowdler Solicitors in Shrewsbury, learnt that she has passed all of her conveyancing exams with distinction.
ILEX is the professional body representing around 24,000 qualified and trainee Legal Executives, and is recognised by the Ministry of Justice as one of the three core routes to becoming a qualified lawyer.
Joanne commented, “I found it hard work juggling my revision for the exams and my work at Lanyon Bowdler, but in the end it paid off because without the experience I gained at the firm, I wouldn’t have been able to achieve a distinction.”
Joanne will now work towards her Fellowship status, and is aiming to become a qualified solicitor.
Senior partner, Peter Flint said, “This is a fine achievement for Joanne, and a well deserved reward for all of her hard work at Lanyon Bowdler.”
