Green Achiever
Three local organisations are working together in order to stake a claim and place Shropshire on the map as a centre of environmental excellence.
Having just completed the Self Assessment stage, one of the county’s largest law firms, Lanyon Bowdler will join forces with Shrewsbury based internet promotion & marketing business Linesave (UK) Ltd, and Shrewsbury High Street stationers Write Here, to work with E4environment Ltd to raise awareness and encourage new businesses to join the ‘Green Achiever’ Scheme.
The Scheme helps identify what companies are currently doing and what they need to do, in order to reduce their environmental impacts.
Speaking on behalf of E4environment, Mandy Stoker said “the Scheme has been set up to enable companies demonstrate their credentials to parties interested in green business. We currently have over 360 companies registered on the National ‘Green Achiever’ Scheme. We now want 100 – 200 from Shropshire to commit, then we can legitimately shout about our combined credentials and generate exposure.”
The campaign to raise awareness will kick off in the New Year, but if you are interested in finding out more – or indeed registering, take a look at www.greenachiever.co.uk/shropshire
