New head of private client department

Lanyon Bowdler Solicitors are pleased to announce that their Private Client Department is to be headed by Edward Rees. Having been a member of Lanyon Bowdler’s six strong expert Private Client team for the past four years.

Edward qualified as a solicitor in 2000. Since then, he has specialised in Wills, Probate, Tax Planning and Trusts. Edward is also a committee member of the Shropshire regional branch of Solicitors for the Elderly.

Edward comments "I love what I do and I am really looking forward to heading up Lanyon Bowdler’s Private Client Department. I am particularly looking forward to building on the exceptional service that clients already receive. It is important to me to help people understand what they need to do in order to secure their futures and those of their loved ones. I'm always here for a chat if someone wants advice; in fact our whole team are a friendly and approachable bunch."

Outside of work Edward is a keen jazz saxophonist, playing regularly with the Shrewsbury Big Band. Rumours circulating that scouts are after him to headline at V 2008 may be exaggerated! However, he can confirm that he is playing next with Simon King Quartet at The Feathers, Ludlow on Sunday 27 April at 7.30 pm.
