Shropshire bred Solicitor comes home and joins Local Solicitors
Ruth Finney an assistant solicitor, has joined Lanyon Bowdler’s Corporate and Business Services team, following a move from the business services team at Browne Jacobson, Birmingham.
Ruth is a company and commercial law specialist and has experience in advising business clients on a variety of aspects of corporate law. She has particular expertise in transactional work such as share and business acquisitions and disposals, management buy-outs, private equity, re-organisations and banking and finance arrangements.
A delighted Ruth comments "I grew up in Shropshire, and after several years away from the county I am delighted to return to join Garry Richards’ team at Lanyon Bowdler. I wanted to return to Shropshire, but I didn’t want to compromise my career. I have been overwhelmed by the professionalism and knowledge of Lanyon Bowdler’s solicitors; they compare favourably with the more expensive city firms I’ve had exposure to. Now I am looking forward to getting to know the local business community and spread the word that businesses in Shropshire do have leading legal expertise on their doorstep, so why go to Birmingham?"
Outside of work, Ruth can be seen pounding the streets as a member of Wrekin Road Runners, she also confessed to being a member of CAMRA and spends lots of time trying to make the image of drinking real ale trendy. Well Ruth, I think we know why you’ve returned to Shropshire!
