Caroline is a solicitor in the Family Law department, specialising in private Children Law and Domestic Violence.  

She read Norwegian & French with Scandinavian Literature at Norwich before completing postgraduate legal studies in Norway and undertaking the CPE law conversion course.  Caroline then trained at the Northampton and Banbury offices of Shoosmiths where she remained for 2 years after qualifying before making the move to Longueville Gittins in Oswestry in 2003.

Caroline is on the Law Society Family Law Panel and has been an accredited specialist with Resolution since 2007, her areas of specialism being Children, Domestic Abuse and financial provision.  She is also Treasurer to the North Shropshire Domestic Violence Forum and regularly advises Women's Aid, the police and other key workers on domestic abuse issues and related children law matters.

LG Solicitors merged with Lanyon Bowdler in May 2010.

In her spare time Caroline can generally be found wherever there are mountains, being an enthusiastic climber and hill-walker and an active member of the Mountain Rescue search dog team.  She is a qualified Reiki practitioner and also enjoys travel, reading, vegetarian cookery and learning Welsh.
