Claire Vale

Associate Solicitor

Claire obtained her Law Degree from the University of Nottingham in 1988 and then attended the College of Law in Guildford. She trained in Birmingham and moved to Shrewsbury, to work for Lanyon Bowdler, in 1991. She gained experience in a wide range of civil litigation matters, including personal injury, but soon developed a keen interest in contentious probate work.

Claire is one of the few solicitors in the Shropshire/West Midlands area to specialise in contentious probate. She acts not only for local clients, but also for individuals who are referred by solicitors further afield. Claire also occasionally acts on an agency basis for other firms of solicitors, for example, in their capacity as personal representatives/trustees. She is a member of the Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists (“ACTAPS”).
