Emma Broomfield is an experienced Solicitor who joined the Lanyon Bowdler Clinical Negligence Team in 2003. She gained her law degree from Cambridge University in 1988 and completed her training at Chester Law College and an Oxford Law Firm. After qualifying Emma worked in the insurance litigation department of a Leeds firm as a Personal Injury Solicitor before deciding to specialise in Clinical Negligence.

Emma has acted for Claimants in a large variety of cases including GP negligence, clinical misdiagnosis and surgical error. She also has experience of handling fatal claims and advising on all aspects of Inquests including public funding options.
