Karen works as a Senior Litigation Assistant in the Personal Injury Department.  She is a Member of the Fast Track Team dealing with all types of claims with a value of up to £15,000.00.

After leaving college she completed a one year NVQ in Business Studies and then obtained full time employment in a Solicitor’s Office and has been in a legal office ever since.

Karen is to take her final ILEX Part II examination shortly with a view to becoming a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives.

Karen has been working with Lanyon Bowdler since 1996 and whilst working on claims with a value of up to £15,000 she also has experience of working on heavy weight cases including a fatal claim.  In addition Karen was responsible for negotiating a settlement of £250,000 for a client as a result of clinical negligence.

Karen has a particular interest in Criminal Injuries Compensation Claims and recently was successful on appeal for an abuse victim and obtained a settlement of £13,000.00 after the initial application was refused.  Karen also has a particular expertise in relation to dog bite claims.
