Prior to joining Lanyon Bowdler, Kate worked for the National Farmers Union for almost 11 years firstly as a legal adviser and then in the Legal Assistance team providing support to members in disputes relating to their farming and growing businesses.

Kate completed a law degree at Hull University and whilst working for the NFU, completed her LPC part-time in the evenings.

Outside of work, Kate has 4 young boys to keep her busy, and enjoys a variety of social activities, especially outdoor pursuits.
