Sue Haylock qualified as a solicitor in 1986. She was a partner in another Shropshire practice until joining Lanyon Bowdler in 1999. Sue works in the Dispute Resolution Department based at our Shrewsbury Office.
Sue is experience in advising in relation to general commercial and contractual litigation and has a particular interest in property disputes. Sue is also experienced in advising with regard to professional negligence claims.
Sue’s reported cases include:-
• Kuppusami -v- Kuppusami and Halifax Plc [2002] EWHC 2785 (CH) acting for the mortgagee in a property claim between father and son where father claimed an overriding interest and breach of constructive trust.
• James -v- Thomas [2007] EWCA Civ 1212 where Sue acted for the successful Defendant in the Court of Appeal in a claim that client’s former partner had acquired an interest in a property by way of constructive trust or proprietary estoppel.
