Jamie is a qualified solicitor within our Dispute Resolution Team based in Telford.

His current workload is varied, he acts on behalf of claimants and defendants involved in all manner of disputes. He has experience in consumer rights disputes, commercial disputes, landlord and tenant disputes, financial services disputes, and property disputes.

He graduated from the University of Wolverhampton in 2007 after studying law. He then joined a financial institution to assist in the administration of mortgage books. In 2010 Jamie qualified as an accredited legal representative whereupon he assisted in representing clients in criminal matters at the investigation stage. Jamie worked for a representation agency doing this work before becoming independent and taking instructions from law firms across the country.

In 2016 Jamie studied his LPC and Masters (in civil litigation) at the University of Law in Birmingham where he achieved a distinction. Since graduation Jamie has continued to represent clients accused of criminal offences as well as undertaking civil advocacy work in Judge’s Chambers around the Midlands circuit and beyond. During this role Jamie represented a number of commercial clients, including international businesses, in various matters, including:

  • Possession hearings;
  • Infant approval settlements;
  • Bankruptcy proceedings;
  • Set-aside applications;
  • Summary judgement applications; and
  • Small claims hearings.

During the course of his training, Jamie has built on his advocacy skills by undertaking and completing his higher rights of audience (civil) qualification which grants him the right to appear in matters before the High Court and beyond.

In his spare time, Jamie enjoys reading and watching sports.
