Lanyon Bowdler's offices in Hereford are located close to Hereford Cathedral. Situated opposite many of the city's estate agents, the offices can be found on the first floor at 11 King Street, just above Fired Earth.
Partner Peter Lewis moved from Cardiff to Hereford in 1985 to set up an office for Edwards Geldard - one of the top law firms in Wales. In 1990 Edwards Geldard decided to close the practice in Hereford and Peter, who was settled in the area, took the opportunity of buying them out.
Practising as Lewis & Tompkins from 1990 - 1995, Peter then merged with Carvers, a 6 partner firm where he was the managing partner until 1999. In 1999 he set up his own business and worked as a sole practitioner trading as Lewis & Co until December 2010 when his practice was acquired by Lanyon Bowdler.
