Associate Solicitor - Employment Team
Charlotte has recently joined Lanyon Bowdler and is based at our Oswestry office. She has specialised in employment law since qualifying as a solicitor in 2010.
Charlotte has experience within a number of sectors including transport and logistics, manufacturing and retail. She also has a number of years' experience advising and providing training to clients within the education sector, and was a school governor for a local primary school for four years, gaining additional insight and understanding of the challenges and issues faced by education settings.
In addition to day to day client advice, Charlotte has extensive litigation experience acting for clients at employment tribunals and assisting them in resolving disputes.
She advises both employers and employees on a wide range of employment matters including discrimination, harassment, disciplinary and grievances, TUPE transfers, unfair dismissal, equal pay and redundancies.
Charlotte takes a proactive approach to employment law matters, not only addressing issues when they arise but devising commercially minded advice to clients on how to reduce the risk of future issues.
Outside of work Charlotte enjoys days out with her family and long distance running. When not doing these she can usually be found getting her hands dirty renovating her home in Trefonen.
