Jemma qualified as a solicitor in March 2012 whilst working for a firm in Mid Wales. Shortly after qualifying Jemma moved to a Shropshire law firm to specialise in personal injury and dispute resolution. Jemma joined the dispute resolution team at Lanyon Bowdler in January 2016, she was promoted to associate solicitor in September 2020.
Jemma deals with a wide range of disputes including contractual disputes, negligence and property disputes. She can also assist with funding disputes with Social Services (including financial assessments and deprivation of capital) and disputes over eligibility for NHS Continuing Healthcare.
She is developing her expertise in contentious probate. Jemma is currently studying a three year course with the University of Law, in association with the Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists (ACTAPS).
In her spare time Jemma enjoys helping out on the family farm and walking her dogs.
