Profile/Experience

Jenny has specialised in employment law since qualifying as a solicitor in May 2008. She joined Lanyon Bowdler in January 2009 and was made an associate in July 2014.

Jenny acts for a wide range of clients from the Shrewsbury, Oswestry and Conwy offices and advises on all areas of contentious and non-contentious employment law. Her experience includes advising on reorganisations, restrictive covenants, employment tribunal matters, unfair dismissal, settlement agreements, changes to terms and conditions and discrimination law. She has a particular interest in advising employer clients on complex disciplinary and grievance matters and supporting the firm’s Corporate and Commercial Team by advising on the employment aspects of business transfers.

In addition, Jenny has developed a specialism in advising Deputy employers of carers and support workers who provide personal assistance to clients of our regionally recognised Court of Protection Department.

Jenny lives in Shropshire with her partner and their two young daughters. In her spare time she is a trustee of a local charity and also enjoys getting out and enjoying the Shropshire countryside with her family.
