Clinical Negligence
Kayleigh graduated from Keele University in 2009 with a First Class Honours Degree in Law with Neuroscience. After obtaining her degree, Kayleigh worked abroad in Canada and then France before returning to the UK and joining Lanyon Bowdler in November 2012.
Initially Kayleigh worked in the firm’s employment team and played a key role in the development of the firm’s education sector, including advising schools on a range of employment issues.
Shortly after joining the firm Kayleigh underwent a Graduate Legal Diploma with CILEx Law School and after completing a three year period of recognised training qualified as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives in August 2017.
Since October 2016, Kayleigh has worked in the firm’s clinical negligence team and is now a Chartered Legal Executive based in the team’s Hereford office where she conducts a wide range of cases including; misdiagnosis, oncology, fatal accidents, orthopaedics, general surgery and cases involving psychiatric injury. As well as having her own case load, Kayleigh also assists partner Lucy Small, on more complex cases including those involving birth, brain and spinal injuries.
