Sue is a senior solicitor in the dispute resolution department based at the Shrewsbury office.
Sue has over 25 years post qualification experience in general civil litigation and for the last 15 years has specialised in property litigation. She acts for a wide range of clients including landlords of commercial and residential property, landed estates and NFU members.
Sue has experience in disputes arising from the sale of land, options, trusts of land claims, rights of way, boundaries, claims for possession of residential and commercial property, rent arrears and forfeiture, claims for possession against trespassers, disputes as to the construction of commercial leases. She also has experience of dealing with claims before the First Tier Tribunal, claims under the Mobile Homes Act and claims against the Land Registry.
She is a member of The Property Litigation Association.
Sue has considerable experience of resolving matters through mediation.

Kuppusami-v-Kuppusami and Halifax plc  EWHC 2785 CH – acting for the mortgagee in a dispute between father and son where father claimed an overriding interest and breach of constructive trust.
James-v-Thomas  EWCA Civ 1212 – acted for the successful defendant in a claim which reached the Court of Appeal regarding constructive trusts and proprietary estoppel.
Bywater Properties Investments LLP and others –v-Oswestry Town Council  EWHC 310 (Ch) – acting for the successful defendant in a claim concerning the construction of the rent review provisions in a lease of commercial premises.
