Tracy has over 18 years' experience in planning law. She has worked in local government and private practice where she also specialised in compulsory purchase and highways. Her experience includes negotiating infrastructure agreements, providing planning title reports, applying for and defending judicial review claims, and acting and advising during planning appeals as well as advising on planning matters.
Tracy joins Lanyon Bowdler from Bromsgrove and Redditch councils' shared legal department where she led the property and planning team, was the legal adviser to the planning committee and trained and advised planning officers and members. She also oversaw footpath applications and has extensive experience in enforcement, lawful development and development control matters including development within the green belt, agricultural, recreational and equestrian development. In 2020 she took over from David Brammer as Head of Planning at Lanyon Bowdler.
