John deals with all aspects of family law but with particular emphasis on financial matters in respect of divorce or couples who are separating as well as arrangements concerning children. He has a particular interest in cases where farms, businesses or pensions may be involved.

Jon joined Lanyon Bowdler as a partner in June 2023 and is based at the Conwy office.

Having qualified with his previous firm in 2000 where he went on to become one its directors, Jon brings his considerable experience in family law as well as his local knowledge to the firm, having practiced in North Wales throughout his career.

A member of Resolution, and an accredited specialist in the areas of finance and children, Jon subscribes to their code of conduct, and therefore seeks to find solutions to the issues that often arise out of family breakdown in as amicable and constructive a manner as possible. Jon is also a trained collaborative lawyer.

Outside of work, Jon enjoys walking in and around the beautiful North Wales hills and countryside as well as spending time with his wife and three children.
