Lizzie Cross.

Lizzie studied at Swansea University gaining her LLB in 2020 and her LPC in 2022.

Lizzie’s priority is to ensure that every client understands the legal process, feels able to engage fully with their matter, and is empowered to make informed decisions at every stage. Lizzie is committed to providing pragmatic, proportionate advice, always with a careful consideration of costs and the individual needs of each client.

As a newly qualified lawyer, Lizzie is developing a keen interest across all areas of law whilst building on the extensive experience she gained during the four years as a paralegal specialising in family law. That experience has provided her with a strong foundation in supporting clients through complex and often emotionally challenging matters, equipping Lizzie with the practice skills and empathy needed to deliver client focused advice.

Lizzie completed her training contract with Lanyon Bowdler and qualified as a solicitor in November 2025. She has been with the firm since January 2021, and started working in the Family Department as a legal assistant where she gained extensive experience. After completing time in various seats she has returned to the Family Team and is based at the Shrewsbury office.

As a dyslexia solicitor, Lizzie has a particular interest in promoting the accessibility within the legal profession. Lizzie understands first-hand the importance of adapting communication and processes to meet the needs of neurodivergent clients. Lizzie is passionate about ensuring that individuals with neurodiversity receive the support and adjustments they need to navigate what can often be a stressful and overwhelming legal process with confidence and understanding.

Lizzie enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Coming from a farming background means that she can often be found spending weekends helping with all the animals, or in the garden turning her hand to growing vegetables!
