Profile / Experience

John is an experienced property litigator. He specialises in landlord and tenant disputes, vendor/purchaser disputes, boundary disputes, nuisance claims, claims to easements and adverse possession.

He also has an expertise in professional negligence claims against solicitors and disputes between co-owners.

John works hard for his clients and offers complete commitment to their interests, along with a problem-solving ability. He prides himself on seeing the wood for the trees; his priority is to make sure that clients thoroughly understand the risks of their position and of any action they may take, before they take it.

John was brought up in Kynnersley, five miles from the Telford office. He has always wanted to return to the area and having left a very successful specialist firm he co-founded in London thirty years ago, this seemed like a good opportunity. He chose to join Lanyon Bowdler because it is a local firm with a strong practice in his area of expertise; he hopes to help to expand and grow that side of the business.
