Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a marketing & events assistant within our Marketing Team based in Shrewsbury.

Working as part of a small team we are looking for an enthusiastic and pro-active individual to support our marketing and events programme which includes careers fayres, business expos, seminars, agricultural shows and social events. These may take place in locations close to our offices or further afield and you will be required to travel to these events, therefore a full driving licence and access to a vehicle is necessary.

This is a fantastic opportunity for the right person to develop their marketing skills in a busy team within a well-respected and leading law firm. You will be an organised person, have good attention to detail, administrative flair, and show a demonstrable interest in marketing.

You will utilise all disciplines of marketing and communication including social media and advertising mediums to attract event attendees and manage relationships with existing audiences.

You will report to the marketing director and work closely with other members of a small marketing team, assisting them where required. We’ll expect you to work hard to support our teams, but we also see this as a developmental role and you will be given responsibility for your own areas of work.

This is a great opportunity to work in an environment where you will be able to quickly learn and develop your skill set. We offer career progression to employees and operate a dedicated approach to ongoing development, motivating individuals to identify areas for improvement and progression so they can excel in their careers.
