Profile / Experience
Benedict joined the Court of Protection Team in March 2026. Prior to joining Lanyon Bowdler, Benedict worked as a Paralegal in the Court of Protection Team at Anthony Gold Solicitors and the Court of Protection Team at Gillhams Solicitors, both in London.
Prior to working in London Benedict was a paralegal in the Information & Governance Team at Warwickshire County Council. Benedict has volunteered Pro-bono work at Central England Law Centre, in both their Benefit Appeals Clinic & Employment Law Clinic. In addition to his legal background, Benedict has eight years’ experience in Local Authority Administration.
Benedict has a Law Degree from Coventry University, a PGDip in Bar Practice from King’s College London & the Inns of Court College of Advocacy and was a recipient of the Sir Christopher Benson Scholarship from the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple.
Outside of his work at Lanyon Bowdler, Benedict enjoys supporting his family’s various businesses, including their table top gaming store which has given rise to his enjoyment of the table top Wargamming hobby.
