Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity to join the Commercial Property Team of our leading legal firm as recognised by Chambers UK and Legal 500. We are well known in the local market for offering a friendly service and professional advice, with offices across rural Shropshire, Herefordshire and into North Wales.

The successful applicant will ideally have worked in a law firm within a commercial property team and will have knowledge of how to run a property transaction or have assisted with that work. The post holder will be expected to use a high degree of self-management and initiative and be able to maintain a highly professional, efficient, confidential and friendly manner ensuring a quality service to clients is always achieved.

The work is a mixture of commercial and agricultural property, such as the sale and purchase of land. The successful applicant will need to have the ability to prepare contracts, transfers and leases and be able to make applications on the Land Registry portal, as well as filing SDLT and LTT returns.

You must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word including the use of tracked changes, along with having a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have used electronic document management/case management systems, be able to demonstrate the ability to work in a busy environment and possess good organisational and time management skills.
