Join us for an educational and fascinating day, as we look at innovation after injury. We will hear from leaders in their field, as well as those who are inspiring others. We’ll be offering a choice of lecturers during a portion of the day, providing even more choice and opportunity to listen to talks relevant to you.

Thanks to our headline sponsors, ARAG and MedBrief, as well as our sponsors No5 Barristers’ Chambers, France + Associates and Paladin Group.

The line-up

We are excited to bring you a fantastic line-up of guest speakers – each one an expert in their field.

The day opens with a fireside chat with Mark Ormrod MBE. Mark is a former Royal Marines Commando who completed tours in both Iraq and Afghanistan. He was injured in Afghanistan on Christmas Eve 2007 and became the UK’s first triple amputee from the conflict.

Our final guest of the day will be Andrew Jenkins, who will be answering questions put to him by our MC Carl Jones. Andrew, a finalist on the BBC reality sensation “The Traitors” is a living embodiment of resilience! At just 21, he faced a life-altering car accident that left him in a coma for four weeks, with doctors declaring he may never walk, talk, or recognize his loved ones again. But Andrew refused to be defined by his circumstances. He defied the odds, not only regaining his ability to walk but also reigniting his passion for life after losing his dream of playing rugby for Wales.
