Profile / Experience
Toni specialises in Court of Protection and mental capacity matters and her experience includes supporting clients with applications to be appointed as property and affairs or health and welfare deputies as well as supporting clients through other court of protection proceedings including contested deputyship applications.
Toni also assists clients who have sustained injuries and received a settlement award with the creation of Personal Injury Trusts and where needed with the ongoing management of the same.
As well as having her own clients Toni also supports senior members of the team with the ongoing management of complex professional deputyships and administration of personal injury trusts.
Toni is an associate solicitor, she joined Lanyon Bowdler in April 2018 as a secretary in the Clinical Negligence Department and moved into the Court of Protection Department in February 2020. She qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in July 2022 and was admitted as a solicitor in August 2022.
Toni is currently the Chair of the Shropshire Junior Lawyers Division and she is a member of the Court of Protection Practitioners’ Association (CoPPA) and the Professional Deputies Forum.
In her spare time Toni enjoys quizzing, baking and spending time with her friends.
