Associate Solicitor - Residential Property
James qualified as a solicitor in the year 2000 starting out working for a well-known mortgage lender based in Gloucester on a residential conveyancing basis but focusing on leasehold properties and unregistered titles.
Thereafter he undertook commercial property and specialised in residential development work for a well-known plc development company as well as a number of smaller ones.
More recently James has been working in Bristol during which time he was working within the commercial property department. Still undertaking the above but leaning more towards receivership work for a well-known bank.
In addition to this he was lucky enough to cut his teeth on ecclesiastical development work and contentious property work in support of the firm’s litigation department who worked for major plc insurance companies as well as continuing to assist private clients with such work.
James is experienced in handling the sales and purchases of both freehold and leasehold properties, equity release and re-mortgages.
