Profile/Experience

Brian is the managing partner of the firm, a role he took on from 1 May 2016.

After reading law at Cambridge University and gaining First Class Honours in the Solicitors’ Final Examination at the College of Law, Chester, Brian joined Lanyon Bowdler as an articled clerk in 1992. He was Head of Dispute Resolution for 13 years prior to becoming the managing partner.

In his present role Brian is responsible for the management of the practice, assisted by an enthusiastic and dedicated team of professional managers.

He also offers the firm's dispute resolution department the benefit of his wealth of experience in the field of litigation and dispute resolution.

Brian is a CEDR Accredited Mediator and continues with his mediation practice alongside his management role.
