Podcast

In this episode, Emma talks about pressure sores, or "bed sores", explaining the different grades and the extent they can develop and deteriorate quickly. The elderly are most at risk from pressure sores, but they can happen to anybody, particularly those with spinal injuries. There are some graphic descriptions in this episode from the beginning about some of the cases we have dealt with.

Listen here to Emma discussing the current state of the ambulance service and the slow response times to 999 calls and the reasons why this is the case. The impact on patients is seeing some negligent care, and potential claims will certainly arise.
