Podcasts

In this episode Edward talks about the importance of good legal advice in relation to The Court of Protection, Lasting Powers of Attorney, wills, and estate administration.

Edward is chatting with Mike Williams from Brewin Dolphin for this episode. They're busting jargon, and talking about inheritance tax planning and financial wellbeing. They explain about "the seven year rule", gifting money, tapering and touch on trust funds.

In order to lessen inheritance tax, I am often asked the question "Should I gift my house to my children during my lifetime?" listen here to why this is a very complex area. Edward gives insight into why that's the case, and provides practical guidance.
