Sophie Burgoyne took us through the complicated process of setting up Powers of Attorney and wrote a simple and easy to understand will. Her advice about our property was helpful and kind.
I recently updated my Will with Sophie Burgoyne at Lanyon Bowdler Solicitors. I found her very approachable and friendly whilst at the same time, extremely professional. Her knowledge and advice explained in ‘layman’s’ terms was most welcoming and reassuring. I found the process very straightforward and efficient and would highly recommend Sophie to anyone needing their Will writing.
We found ourselves in the position of having to use Sophie after the sad loss of my wife’s mum Margaret so it was not an easy time for any family members concerned at all. Throughout the whole process we were treated sympathetically with care and respect and were supported throughout, anything we did not understand was explained to us as many times as needed. Sophie was always just a phone call away if we needed any advice and if we got her voicemail due to her being busy she always got back to us with in 24-48 hours. This made the whole upsetting situation of losing a much loved one a lot easier.
Friendly and very efficient probate service. Would recommend.
Sophie is very friendly and approachable, listens to your requirements and points you in the right direction in a professional manner, all the latest legal requirements are highlighted and explained in full. Sophie applies no pressure which allows you time to come to the right decision. Many thanks. Alan & Janet
My husband and I were made very welcome from the start of the procedure of changing our will and arranging lasting power of attorneys. Everything was explained in a professional manner and promptly dealt with. Would recommend.
At the time of my initial meeting with Sophie Burgoyne, concerns about settling my late father’s estate had weighed heavily on me for some time. It was clear from the outset that Sophie had an excellent depth of knowledge in the area. She explained the probate process, and addressed the particular questions that had been worrying me in a reassuring and professional manner. I left feeling like a load had been lifted from my shoulders. All further interactions were efficient, well-communicated and prompt. The whole process moved forward very smoothly. My only regret is that I didn’t approach Sophie sooner.
